Every system.
Documented. Warranted.
Six core services. All built on the same measurement-first protocol that distinguishes Blooms from every conventional roofing contractor in the region.
Full System Replacement
A Blooms replacement begins before a single shingle is touched. Thermal imaging maps the existing deck for moisture, delamination, and thermal anomalies. Structural probe testing confirms deck integrity. Ventilation balance is calculated and documented. Then — and only then — do we specify materials and scope.
This sequence catches problems that conventional visual inspection misses: wet insulation that will cause the new roof to fail within years, thermal bridging that will undermine energy performance, ventilation imbalances that will void manufacturer warranties. We address them before the new roof goes on.
Emergency Storm Response
Vantage deploys a storm response crew within 72 hours of any significant weather event in our service area. First action: temporary weatherproofing of any breach to prevent further moisture intrusion. Second: full damage documentation with thermal imaging and soft-metal impact measurement.
We build a formal documentation package — thermal maps, hail size evidence, NOAA storm data cross-reference, written assessment — and attend the adjuster meeting with you. In 2024, this process reversed three cosmetic-only adjuster findings to full replacement approvals.
Infrared Thermal Diagnostics
Standard visual inspection finds what's already visible. Infrared thermography finds what's developing — moisture trapped in insulation and decking, delaminated sections, early-stage thermal bridging — before it becomes a structural failure or an interior leak.
Our ITC Level I certified thermographers use FLIR calibrated equipment under controlled conditions (minimum 20°F indoor/outdoor differential for optimal contrast) and produce annotated thermal maps with written interpretation. Every anomaly is probe-tested for confirmation before entering the report.
Commercial Membrane Systems
Commercial flat and low-slope roofing requires drainage engineering, not just material selection. We begin every commercial engagement with survey-grade slope mapping to confirm positive drainage to every drain — before specifying any membrane system. For properties with existing ponding, we design tapered insulation overlays to restore drainage while upgrading thermal performance.
We schedule installation around your operational calendar and provide detailed project logs suitable for facilities management records. Biannual maintenance contracts available — including drain inspection, clamping ring verification, and seam thermal survey.
Standing Seam Metal Systems
Standing seam is the engineering-forward residential choice: concealed fasteners, floating clip attachment that accommodates thermal expansion, and 50-year rated Galvalume or aluminum substrates. Our metal division uses factory-trained crews and dedicated electric seamers — the specialized tooling that separates a mechanically sound seam from one that will fail.
Cool roof coatings applied at the factory reflect 65–75% of solar radiation — compared to 5–25% for asphalt — and qualify for EPA Energy Star classification and federal energy efficiency incentives.
Thermal Performance Comparison
Cool-coated metal: 65–75% solar reflectance. Standard asphalt: 5–25%. In hot-humid climates, this typically translates to 10–22% annual cooling cost reduction.
High-Performance Sustainable Assemblies
We model projected whole-assembly thermal performance before every replacement — not just the labeled R-value on the insulation bag, but the effective assembly performance accounting for framing ratios, ventilation configuration, and thermal bridging. Where significant performance gaps exist, we propose engineering solutions: outsulation layers, advanced ventilation packages, cool roof coatings.
Every improvement that qualifies for the federal residential clean energy credit (currently 30% for applicable components) or state utility incentives is identified and documented for your tax professional.
